Depending on type of hood, testing to include:
- Sash inflow (FPM/CFM)
- Smoke inflow
- Smoke clearance time
- Inspection of installation & proper use
- Ground polarity check
Optional tests or services can include (if applicable):
- Application of SAMA or ANSI specifications
- Vertical & horizontal cross draft profiles
- Motor & belt inspection
- Light intensity (UV & UVC)
- Sound levels
- Vibration measurements
- Pressure differential
